Well, I did it. Just a few days ago I did my very first full solo concert. No loopstations or other electronics, no Mystery Guests of any kind and no audience participation. Just me on clarinet and bass clarinet playing a variety of stuff including some Monk, improvisations, standards, folk tunes, my own compositions and more. I'm proud of myself! All in all I now have over an hour of repertoire, more than enough to take the solo concept on the road. Yay!
